I couldn't help myself from reading quickly - but I wish I had paced myself a little better.  I want more book.  I'm going to really miss knowing that there isn't another installment from JKR.

It was really good.  I read on another board how it was somewhat like a Cliffs Notes version of the book and in a way it was.  IMO they got the gist of the book captured very well, however if you really want to feel all the emotion you need to take that next step and read the book.

The acting in this was superb.

I saw this on onlymefeelinsad's page and HAD to do it in honor of Saturday Night Live after watching that 2 hour show NBC did on the show from 1990-2000 (some of the greatest years of the show IMO).

J: Justin Timberlake - one of the funniest hosts ever. Dick in a Box, the Target employee w/ the lip issues, his Punk'd sketch. List goes on and on.
K: Katlin by Amy Poehler and Kyle DeMarco by Chris Katan have to tie on this one. I love the both.
L: Lorne Michaels - I have a tiny crush on him, LOL
M: Mango - b/c everyone love-a the mango
N: Nadine - the Cheri O'Teri character who tells everyone to "simma down nah"
O: Opera Man
P: Professors - Rachel Dratch and Will Ferrell as the two TMI "lovvah's" who love to eat spiced meats during lovemaking.
Q: Queen - Fine, they have nothing to do w/ SNL but there HAS to be at least one reference to Queen the band or Queen Elizabeth during the 30+ year run. I just can't think of a darn thing for Q.
R: Robyn Byrd Show - the porn star w/ the talk show. What a hot mess she was.
S: Sully - who loves both making out w/ Zazu and NOMAR!!!
T: Tiger Beat's Ultra Super Duper Dreamy CEO Special - this was the episode where Sarah Michelle Gellar hosted and they all swooned over the "hot" CEO's in the mag.
U: Uri - that recurring character of Tom Hanks who was the host of the Sabra Price Is Right.
V: Velvet Jones - one of the great Eddie Murphy SNL characters
W: Will Ferrel - enough said!

That was so hard. I left SO much out.

It's so easy to track how busy I am at work by monitoring my internet usage.  Clearly I have been WAY TOO BUSY lately!!

I should get back to packing for our office move this weekend.  Hence my avatar about putting stuff in a box.

That is just about the most unappealing way to describe anything.  

God I love Top Chef.

My only point of contention - do I want Ilian or Betty to be sent home more.

(Mind you I don't particularly like Marcel or want him to win.....I just don't want him to lose to either of those two after their dishes AND attitudes this episode.  Let's see what happens..................)

The Target skit and then this video MADE the show.

I remember the first time he hosted and did the spoof on Punk'd "I'm Aston Kutcher, I AWESOME!" and have looked forward to him hosting ever since.

She has bypassed her water dish and has taken to drinking the christmas tree water. I wish I could get a good picture of this but positioning of the camera under the tree is tough. I'm going to keep trying.

I have XM radio and on the uncensored comedy channel they play his clips all the time. He does this bit where he will put on this shocked middle aged white bread woman voice who is shocked a what he says in his act. I swear it makes me laugh so hard I can hardly drive.

In other news, the contestants in this season of Top Chef are so hard to like.

1.  Thanksgiving and three day work weeks!
2.  Christmas lights (even when they are put up a week too soon)
3.  The tiny clip of the OOTP teaser trailer that has been released - yeah sure they are taking some license w/ OOTP but from the bit of the trailer that is out it looks pretty damn good.
4.  The new James Bond movie - I was on the fence about the new Bond but no more.  I love him.
5.  JD Robb's Born in Death.

I am so pleased with my W.O.M.B.A.T. results....I got an E up from a very disapointing A on the first test.  

Good times.

But right now, I am just having a really tough time dealing w/ this nice and tidy Richie Cunningham-esque style hair the movie producers and/or Dan have working for Harry in OotP.

I am really pretty laid back in terms of HP movie stuff and have yet to be disappointed by one of the films, but this hair thing is really bugging me.  I can deal w/ Hermione's more tame wavy hair rather then the bushy hair from the books but Harry having this nice tidy hair w/o a single lock out of place is driving me nuts.

Emma looks so incredibly young and I love it.  A bit less of the glam and a bit more youthful innocent.  A bit more Hermione in a way.  Rupert as always is darling and it's fun to see Bonnie really growing up.  She looks more like a contemporary of Emma now.  There really is such a big difference in the way kids look between the pre-teens and the teens.

I have read this statement more times then I can count and always discounted it as people doing a "grass is always greener" type of thing.  Well, I stumbled across the UK cassette version of the PS and CoS at my local used bookstore and figured why not buy them as they were only $10 each.

I have listened to and loved the US version.

Well.

Oh my god.

The UK version really IS better.  Stephen Frye does a fantastic Hermione (where as the US version is rather lacking in the Hermione department - it's not bad, it's just not as good as it COULD be).  I could not be more thrilled.  Of course this means I now have to hunt up the PoA, GoF, OotP and HBP all at a very reasonable price and ebay my US versions as I get the UK replacements.....but I do love to have a project to focus on.

I would rather have mp3's or CD's instead of cassette's.  Is there a way to record cassette's onto a computer?  This may turn out to be a little more technical then my skills allow.
